Hosting and Infrastructure
The NorthStar Holdings web estate is hosted on infrastructure provided by third-party cloud and content-delivery providers. Where infrastructure is provided by a non-Australian-domiciled entity, that provider's terms apply to the underlying infrastructure layer. The portfolio does not represent that data held by third-party infrastructure providers is immune from foreign legal process.
Honest disclosure: The hosting and content-delivery providers that support this estate operate globally. NorthStar Holdings does not claim that data held by these providers is sovereign-protected, exempt from foreign legal process, or held under any specific jurisdictional immunity. Sensitive material is best transmitted by separate secure channels confirmed at the start of an engagement.
Retention
Correspondence retained for the duration of an active engagement and for the period reasonably required for record-keeping after engagement conclusion. Server logs retained per standard infrastructure retention periods. Personal information no longer required is deleted in the ordinary course.
Your Rights
You may request access to personal information NorthStar Holdings Trust holds about you, request correction of inaccuracies, or request deletion subject to record-keeping obligations under Australian law. Requests are made in writing to the Director.
Data Subject Requests
Data subject requests are handled directly by the Director. Address requests to [email protected] with the subject "Privacy Request". A written response is issued within a reasonable period.
Complaints
If you consider that NorthStar Holdings has not handled your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles, you may raise a complaint directly with the Director. If unresolved, you may refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
